I have refained from posting this for a while, but what the hell is going on with ref's and us this season. The horrendous and absolute rank decisions they seem to give us time after time is crazy. They say it evens its self up, but its impossible for that to happen with the remaining games. Anyway to make myself feel a little bit better I am listing them. 1) Livermore v Arsenal - Never a sending off, then Cech takes out our player through on loan with the bollocks that is double jeopardy rule. 2) Arsenal away - Sanchez handball, then not sending Gibbs off. 3) Chelsea away - Hernandez was a stone wall penno. 4) Everton away - Not as clear cut but Huddlestone tackle did not deserve a red. 5) Watford home - Niasse enough said. All my mates call me bitter and it happens to 'every' team but I dont think I can remember a season in where i have hurled so much abuse at ref's!
I think the standard of reffing this season has been very poor, the Newcastle decision reversal earlier in the season was similarly awful. The FA like to show solidarity with their referees, but there needs to be an inquest into how to better keep consistency because decisions like today's, at such a crucial moment in the season, shouldn't be happening. Either the refs need to be coming out and justifying their decisions, or we need video referees. For the sake of 10 seconds of stoppage, it could make or break a season for some clubs. If we'd lost that today, the ramifications would have been massive.
Same. I genuinely try to NOT complain about the ****ers but they're just ****ing awful. Tis funny atm hearing one of my Spurs mates taking about they had no chance against 12 today.
The ludicrous thing is, I expect the useless ****s to uphold the red for Niasse. Such is the ridiculousness of the FA.
At least one West Ham fan thinks we have had the worst decisions of all the premier league clubs. Tell your mates to **** off then change your mates.
7) The ref at Chelsea watched Cahill bum rape Hernandez before dragging him to the ground in the same passing movement that led to their goal.
It does seem to be happening more often than not to us. Red cards. Penalties. Under Phelan, we had nearly conceded the most penalties in a single PL season (and we were barely halfway through it).
If that is the case I'm surprised you still have them as 'mates'. Can you send them a message from me? Next year in the second division. How many will that be?
8. Gibbs best pal 'Mark' not sending him off for rugby tackling Marcovich one on one.. I have a feeling this list could get longer...
It's been a good stint for them but surely they can't stay at that level much longer. A few clubs have managed for a few years but they all go back down to League 1 eventually.
Anyone else worried they might even come up with some kind of rule about two unsuccessful appeals meaning the ban gets extended. Sorry nothing we can do. Rules is rules.
