His constant negativity and how he referenced the team as "they are" rather than "we are" in his first months. Then when we actually played very poorly, he said we played like champions. lol. I don't think he ever believed the reality that he was the Manager. He was generally deluded.
And yet I held more faith in him than I did in van Gaal. Given as much time as the dutch quiff, who knows what he might have managed.
Let's not kid ourselves, LvG and Moyes are not in the same league. Yes, it didn't work out for LvG, but he certainly ain't your Moyes. Time would not have given Moyes a darn thing because his mentality is that of a mid-table manager.
Can't we get rid of this Moyes thread. The guy is hanging around this board like a fart in a lift. Move on
We will never know though will we, he didn't even get a full season, while the other bloke had 2. Unfair comparison.
Don't forget he used to say - '' I thought we played well.'' after most games. He looked like he didn't know what he was doing, hence why he got the sack.
Yet van Gaal looked like a bloke playing angry birds on his iPad and didn't. Ok, he did eventually but not before he'd pulled the wool right over yours and a good many others eyes.
Yeah, more time to completely destroy the club. I can't even imagine what the outcome of that would be.
I am certain that Everton would have fired him by now if we hadn't gone for him. Forget relegation battle. They will be relegated with record low points.
I cant believe the United job wrecked him this much. He was better than this at Everton tbf. He's nowhere near tge same manager as then.
