Another one that the jocks had their chance and wasted it so now the bint says she'll call another independence referendum if they can't stay in the EU, good luck with that as it has to be authorised by the British PM. Of course but the $ has been a bull market for the last two years and compounded by Brexit uncertainty, weak currencies are advantageous to some and not others so it swings both ways, the markets never react well to uncertainty. FTSE has recovered to back above pre-Brexit levels. - nuff said.
PwC have confirmed half a billion of Brexit investment and this is only the start. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/brexit-banks-not-worried-by-leave-vote-ready-invest-britain-1568496
Says someone who never even voted on it but don't let that get in the way will you......... Mick's took two attempts to vote the Lisbon treaty through after all.
Can't see any valid reason to vote on it but if we did vote out, we'd at least know how to exit if the situation arose rather than a bunch of chickens running scared from their coup
Both sides have flapped over this, least you rejected the backdoor Lisbon treaty the first time but not so lucky the second.
Exactly as you Micks get far more out of it than you put in and always have, unlike us always being a net contributor.
Not really. It was Europe insisted we didnt burn our bond holders during the financial melt down a few years back, a position they have since done a complete u turn on with other countries. Were now left paying of tens of billions of bank debt for the next twenty years that others will walk away from. But were a positive lot and will get on with it. Now ask any farming friends you may have, how comfortable do they feel about the European farming levies being discontinued when you leave. Those levies make up 87% of their income. They are hanging on the hope the uk government will be able to continue paying them at least in part. Maybe they can get some of the 350m promised to the NHS and then diverted within minutes of the brexit announcement
I never believed that any or all of the £350m or whatever it is after our rebate would go into the NHS, everyone's got their own opinion where money should be spent, so you'd never agree. I don't see why anyone would be surprised that they'd lose their EU subsidies after leaving, perfectly natural once we leave in my mind and quite right also. Passed enough farmer's signs in the south/south west counties to know that loads of farmers wanted out.
Where England leads Europe follows, just wait the Paddies will be next, they've already admitted there economy relies on England.
