Last year i would say the dark horse was arguably swansea and the unexpected flop was liverpool. Who in your opinion would be the recipient of these tags this year. For dark horses i would say southampton, for flops....i'm rather confused!

I really wasn't surprised by Liverpool flopping last season to be honest. I think they really missed an opportunity by spending that huge amount of money so badly (I know the Torres money was factored in but...). I reckon they might be my dark horses for this year because it surely can't be too long until Suarez remembers how to score regularly (he got 50 in one season at Ajax) and that could make a huge difference.

Unexpected flops? A few things go wrong for Newcastle and they drift into lower mid table (I really hope not)? Chelsea don't find a way of fitting in all their attacking midfielders and don't qualify for CL?

That can't be classed as unexpected though as we all know they're ****.
Rodgers was talking them up until after the first week he had them for training and then he saw the **** he had and started lowering expectations. Now he's just hoping to get some loans in so they make top half. **** club **** fans.

It's not right to accuse Norwich of anti-football

Goons to flop into mid table. Replacing RvP´s abundance with Podolski and Giroud won`t see them anywhere near Champions League qualification.

Dark horses: West Ham for a top 7 finish?

Let it go. We came to the Emirates and gave you a good game. The only people who didn't think it was a fair result was a handful of Arsenal supporters.

Anyhow, my pick for dark horses are Sunderland to sneak into Europe and flops to be Everton, or Arsenal but only if RVP goes. Of course my predicting skills are pretty atrocious.

Where have you dreamt this one? They've only signed Cuellar so far and only have Whickham, Ji and Campbell as strikers. Trying to avoid the Geordie vs Mackem here but they'll struggle unless they sign a striker and a left back.

I expect Man United to flop this year although they'll still get CL football I think they'll finish in an all time EPL low of 4th place. Dark Horses are West Ham for top 10 finish!!

LOL! are you STILL sore about us DRAWING with you?

Jesus, you've got more pressing issue to deal with than us mate, like the fact you've just lost your best player for the third season in a row.

  19. I'd love to believe that, but I think the Gunners are good enough for 6th or 7th.

Can't see it happening. Big Sam is too one-dimensional to sustain any kind of run in the EPL. His hoof-ball tactics work wonders in the Championship, but there are too many sides in the EPL that know how to counteract that type of football. The Spanners will do well to avoid relegation.

I think 'Pool will, once again, be the biggest flops in the division.
