    We beat Marlow 7-1 in the preliminary rd then Uxbridge 6-1 2nd qualifying rd we lost 2-0 to Slough who of course we have played already this season

    I had to go back and look at the previous page and question just to see when this was if you weren't around Ron. Oh come on who are you kidding it was only 1922 - 23 for christ sake.............<whistle>

    Oh yea. Sorry, I thought it said 1822-23

    The earliest encounter with Marlow I recall was in the FA Cup (I think) at Marlow. It was 0-0 with a minute to go and our centre forward (can't remember his name but something like Micalrut - Polish I beieve) scored the winner. Probably early 1950s

    So a 1 - 0 scoreline isn't a recent thing with Wycombe then..........:D


    Know what. this must be the longest summer recess in football ever. I've taken to watching the Tour de France and women's cricket just to help keep me awake during the day. It isn't working though.:emoticon-0113-sleep

    I remember going to an FA Cup replay (after drawing 0-0 away, and lucky to get away with that). We were 12-0 up at half time then eased off and won 15-1. You can guess which goal got the biggest cheer.
