Agreed. Good luck PDS, not quite suited for the EPL but a canny player and a good pro by all accounts.
paulo just didnt settle in with the lads in the dressing room and it all got a little bit too much for him and he snapped so to be honest bruce thought best to nmove him on
Good luck to PDS. From the little we saw he seemed to have an excellent attitude. But he just wasn't suited to the PL. Chris, great you're here, we're all waiting for your deadline day info!
How much did he go for? Good luck to him, professional attitude but as people say he wasn't suited in the prem. Hopefully does well in la liga.
Good luck Paulo in your short time with us, you gave 100% thats all us Mackems ask for...just a shame the EPL didnt suit you
"[Da Silva] becomes the second player to leave permanently in the January transfer window after David Healy joined Rangers." Seems safc.com has no memory for traitors. He joined on a free, if my memory serves me right, meaning any fee is another SB profit. Cheers Paulo and best of luck in Spain!
Am i right in saying that with Da Silvas departure we now only have 4 CB's? One that is injured, one that is injury prone, and one that is a liability? That only leaves Bramble? Can't help thinking we could possibly leave ourselves thin again.....
Will do excellently in Spain. Healy, PDS and Reid all gone by the end of the transfer window. That will leave a big space in our wage budget... Keane threw 25,000 a week contracts around like mad.
His finest hour was shutting out Arsenal at the SOL last season. Him and Mensah never gave them a sniff. Good deal for us.Got him for nowt and rumoured to be best part of 2mil back from Zaragosa for him.
But he never got a game even when we were down to the bare bones, so moving on seems sensible all round. Don't forget Onnnooaeruaer!
Agreed. Good luck to PDS, would be good to see if we got a couple of million for him. Shame it didn't work out and sad that we lose a great song Wooooooooooooooooooo DA SILVA!
