    Wright-Phillips has just put on his Twitter that he is "gone". In other words his exit from Man City. We were one of the 3 main clubs in for him but I reckon he'll go to QPR.

    Stoke boss Tony Pulis is throwing a fortune at Tottenham striker Peter Crouch to persuade him to move north.

    Pulis agreed a £10million fee with Spurs but after Crouch rejected the switch the Potters chief increased his efforts.

    Crouch was being offered the same £65,00-a-week terms he is on at White Hart Lane, but now Pulis wants the contract to be increased in salary and length.

    The main problem is that Crouch does not want to leave London. He rejected the chance of a move to Sunderland yesterday but Stoke are hoping an improved package may tempt him to go.

    Stoke will turn to Liverpool’s David N’Gog if Crouch refuses to budge, with the Frenchman available at £4m.

    Birmingham’s Liam Ridgewell is also on Stoke’s radar after the former Aston Villa defender handed in a transfer request.

    So when Crouch rejects us again we'll go for the worst player i've ever seen in the Premier League. Fan ****ing tastic!!!!!! Why can't we just go for Bendtner? I'd rather we sign a League 2 striker than NGog, they're bound to have more ability than that useless sack of ****.

    I'm sorry, I just cant see the point in signing Jerome or Ridgewell for that matter! We are overloaded with Defenders and jerome is a backward step in KJ, Walters and Fuller! Waste of money

    We are also signing Wilson Palacios.. or are we?
    Bellamy will choose Liverpool before Stoke City..
    Two reason why he would..

    1. They can/will pay the wages
    2. Bigger club that we are..

    Don't hold your breath on this one either Pistol.

    The one that really worrie's me is Wilson Palacios. WHAT is happening with that?

    I'm not sure what's going on, it was reported that there was a block on the transfer til Parker signed, and he has now, so I would have thought Palacios would be made official. No news as of yet though.

    Yeah, Bellamy doesn't strike me as a player who'd choose game time over wages. Probably go to QPR over us just for the money.

    No it wasn't mate... According to a tweet I had.. S S News also said.. that Palacios DEPENDS on what Crouch decides to do today? T.P. or Stoke had an agreement for both player's.
    And, Palacios obviously has NOT signed.. to me honest.. I'm off to my local Bowling Club, get some pratice for Thursday's game.
    It's more exciting than NOTHING happening
    And less stressful <laugh>

    Will be back around 10:00pm tonight <ok>

    So no Bendtner, no Crouch, potentially no CJ with interest from Leicester. I think the knives will need to be sharpened when I get home.
