Quite easy really, most things can be resolved apart from Skiddy being a shirt lifter. Edit: just seen #188 by Chief
It's a shocking thread(s). Totally changed my view on some posters, I avoid it. It's almost GC's level. Poor and embarrassing.
I feel exactly the same. Until the whole politics Brexit thing, I had no idea Kustard was such a vile piece of ****. I mean there are political differences, and there is left and right wing, and then there is just racist pieces of ****, and Kustard very much falls in to that category. I avoid it as much as I can now.
I've never liked Cov anyway due to local connections although have met a few decent supporters over the years. i do hope they don't go out of business though as I'd not wish that on any club for the good supporters. However I do hope they go down as being based in a Sheffield, I'm aware of their fans antics in the match vs Utd earlier in the season where they were trying to invade the pitch and get the match abandoned. They are of course entitled to protest but when it affects other clubs and their aims it's not on. Needless to say it's caused bad blood between the fans despite Utd scoring the winning in the time added on for the protest! I've seen they are doing similar antics today but at least Charlton arent really playing for anything and have also done similar things towards their owners.
Yeah I'd imagine so, I saw something about a delay due to throwing pigs on the pitch which is what Charlton have done before. Bad owners need to be protested about, I think in the case of the blades match, there's a time, place and situation and that wasn't it
I do agree with that don't get me wrong. I was told by Blades supporting mates that when they played Charlton, there was protests before and after the match and they joined in with them in solidarity. I do think you should draw a line at antics that could potentially derail other clubs challenges though as it's not their fault either. Fortunately both our clubs seem in good hands but I do sympathise with clubs that have fallen in to bad ownership, too many of them now like the two mentioned, Leeds, Cardiff, Hull on a lower scale (kit colour changed and name changes) to Portsmouth falling down the league. Leyton Orient atm
Ah didn't know that, close escape. There was a lot of apprehensive people when King Power bought us but they've been the best thing to happen to the club. Sven appointment aside they've been faultless
Yeah it was the Summer of '09 when we had just been relegated to League 1, were in admin and due to start season on -10... if we started in league 1 at all that is! They were very close to taking us over but in the end it was Saint Markus Liebherr (rip) who saved the day... and look at what we've done since! Always caution with new owners mate. Looks likely we'll be sold in the Summer, probably to a Chinese outfit... would be lying if I said I didn't have concerns but nothing we as fans can do is support the team and hope for the best
