I changed your quote to read as something else.
Which would not be your quote, would it.

Actually when changing someone's post the time honoured process is to quote their post (so you can see who was the owner of the original post) and then change it, and then write fixed underneath !

Congratulations to Spurs for finishing 2nd in the PL

Do you think your 50 year wait for a League title is close?

or do you think you had your best chance last and this season as the likes of City/United will challenge for the title as they will spend stupid amounts this summer.

The big boys will be back next season, we will be fighting for 6th place at best <ok>

It's the Pep v Jose show. Arsenal will get 4th as usual. Liverpool are back and Chelsea can buy any trophy they want.

    Basically same as last year

    No idea tbh
I genuinely thought Utd, City, Arsenal and Chelsea would definitely finish above us and we would be fighting with Everton and Liverpool for 5th-7th places.
Wish we had won a cup ... it's been a while!

Next season depends on who gets CL football as this will effect who will or will not be bought and who gets EL as this seems to ruin clubs league season.
Only Spurs and Man City have got CL qualification in the same season as playing in the EL...God knows why this is.
Is there really a difference between playing Wednesday and Saturday and playing Thursday and Sunday?
And people go on about how many EL games there are compared to CL but there are actually on 2 addition games in the round of 32.

Might help Everton and Southampton gain ground on the top 6 next season

Hard to say, I think Citeh have under performed, the mousers have over performed and the Chavs, Spurs Arsenal and Man U are all about where they should be based on squad quality. All things being equal I think next years title race will be between Spurs, Chavski and Citeh. However, if the mousers, l'arse or Manure throw £300 M at the transfer market, anything could happen.

Next season is going into the unknown. It seems very unlikely that we could win the PL playing at Wembley but how many people had money on Leicester? If we can add some quality, just a couple of attacking players, we would have so much more in those tight games that we drew this season.

I'm more inclined to think that 2018/19 could be our year. Returning home and with the likes of Marcus Edwards adding something to the squad could make it our turn. However, the inter-galactic space lizards may have banned football in favour of making the pink weasels do 'To The Death Come Dancing'. The only given is that Wenger will still be pulling in fourth place in that competition.

Many Spurs fans might disagree but if we had Olivier Girould as a sub who could come off the bench and score (like he does for Arsenal) and close-out the tight games that were drawn back at the start of the season, we would now be champions.

You're right. There's definitely no way you'll be saying that this year.

My point is that we heard the same stuff last summer.
City had Guardiola, Utd had Mourinho and they'd both spent tons of money.
We were supposed to end up outside of the Champions League spots and fighting it out with Everton.
    Didn't happen.

Will it happen next season? Possibly. It's impossible to tell, at the moment.
We'll know more after the summer transfer window, but I'm sure there'll be another ****load of cash being thrown around.
Doesn't matter if you don't throw it in the right direction.

I also want to say Congrats to Spurs.
They have spent far less than everyone else in the top 6 yet managed to keep up with us the longest, whilst going on a great run.
Plus you have some really good players, and a decent manager.
You just need to get a couple of trophies under your belt and you will be remembered as a good side.

As an impact sub, you've got yourself a deal.

Your problem is that Wenger keeps starting with him. Playing him at WHL was hilarious (for us).

If Spurs can hold on to their top players and add more depth to the squad then I think they will be a top 3 side next season.

i just think Chelsea will add more players to make them even stronger, City will buy a whole new defence including Walker from you - shame as he is quality and will join the ranks of English players to join City and then underperform like Stones/Ridgewell/Sinclair.

United will spend stupid amounts of money as thats all Jose knows, and they will finish 5th... and then spend again and finish 5th the next season, and then Jose will go :)

Liverpool may surprise people and go on a unbeaten run, the delusion will peak just as Liverpool will lose to Brighton, and then Pool will finish 4th.

Arsenal will still have Wenger, Giroud, Ramsey, Ox, who will still be ****e , but won't have Sanchez/Ozil, and will finish 6th. The following season Wenger will be hounded out after 3 consecutive loses at home and Arsenal will finish 7th behind Everton.

So pissed off that Wenger will stay, he should go after the Cup Final irrespective of the result.

City would rather sign a young, home-grown, Barcelona-trained right-back with Premier League experience, I think.
Can you think of anyone that fits that bill? <whistle>
