He's only 9 years older When he gets to 50 we'll notice a difference. I wonder whether he'll be someone's son-in-law.?
As true as that might be (got a lot of love for GS), we still won't achieve anything until English football gets a revamp. Our problems run deep, much deeper than players/managers.
Most of the problem is the pressure of expectation. They're weighed down with it and scared ****less: please log in to view this image
Definitely worthy of its own thread. Great for the guys and all connected with the club. Both have had doubters this season and its good to see what hard work, confidence and a run in the squad can do. Pullis was saying about Livermores call up how it was the first for the club since the 80's. Our record shows if you give young English players a chance they can complete in this world of multi million pound overseas players. Nice one saints.
I like this map from the EFL final. Prowsey - not a defensive midfielder. please log in to view this image
I also see they take credit for this: Former St John’s College pupil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, has also been included in Southgate’s squad selection. When I played for Havant Schools, we played Portsmouth and they were c**p. (I know that most of our team were Pompey fans, but....). Southampton, on the other hand, turned us over comprehensively. I tried my best but I couldn't be too upset...
I agree he is the right man for the job. How well he does though, may depend on how well he is able to deal with his team falling short of the absurdly unrealistic expectations of a media that seem to delight in murdering England bosses.
Prowsey on presser duty. He's probably the most eloquent in the squad. Although not sure that's much of a compliment
