Riiiight... honestly Piskie you strike me as a fairly decent guy (based on your political beliefs that I've read here rather than the incredibly tedious "banter") just ****ing pretend for once that I'm not HIAG trying to wind you up or some sucker that you can get to say something that you can use to wind somebody else up. FFS!!! I was in a good mood when I logged onto here! Now I'm starting to remember why I don't.

Calm down fella <laugh> I'm agreeing with you. I think it's a really good thing that both Arsenal and Spurs have taken a different approach to the sugar daddy angle of pumping obscene amounts of cash into the squads. And whilst spurs' approach is yet to yield any trophies, Arsenal's win today is a victory for football over the 'throw a ton of cash and see what sticks' mentality of Chelsea and city.

According to some (everyone else who uses this forum) Diego is so stupid that he not only blatantly misquotes other posters when talking **** about them, but thinks they won't find out about it.

Which bit of your quote that he put up did you not originally state?

What quote did he put up?

He didn't. That's the point. So no surprise that you missed yet another in a long list of points...

So he misquoted you without quoting you?

Wenger is 7 wins out of 8 finals and we have won 3 of last 4 - not a bad record!

Winning trophies is timeless as they are always recorded in history - no one recalls second place.

What Leicester did last year will live for all time in the history books as the PL Champions 2016, how you did it against the odds will add to the folklore

    misquote
    verb
If someone is misquoted, something that they have said or written is repeated incorrectly.

    "I did he didn't?"

    What does that mean?

That, cini, is an example of quoting somebody. Now here is an example of misquoting:
"I asked you what my sock puppet account wrote of yours that was wrong and you did he didn't"

    Very strange post.
I never quoted you at all so certainly didn't misquote you.
Why would you think I would be bothered about someone finding out if I did quote them? this is an open forum which anyone can read so a quote (if used) is hardly passing on state secrets.
If linking to a thread so someone can read actual posts in full context is misquoting then you have a strange view of things.

So you saying that I was comparing our squad from this season to the 1974 Holland squad wasn't you misquoting me? Even though anyone with half a brain knows full well that you are blatantly misquoting me, given the context of my quote was disproving the idea put forward by some insecure halfwit visiting our board that nobody talks about teams that don't win things?

I find it very suspicious that you and cini65 made the exact same mistake at the exact same time, given there was no reason for either of you to be on the Spurs board at the time I made the comment the two of you manage to both misinterpret in the exact same way.

Are bees known for being so insecure they have to set up sockpuppet accounts so other bees agree with them? Because that's the only way this response makes sense - on either board you post it on.

I agree. It's like some surreal David Lynch horror unfolding. I'm wondering what other bits of breaking news he'll come out with next.
