May I ask that you add another summary you your excellent statistics? We're still ahead of the game by six points, opponent for opponent but one has to add it up: thus we look worse off than we actually are! We're six points better off than we were having played the same opponents after twenty games last season! Pozzotiveness please! :emoticon-0148-yes:

Compared to last season we are 5 points up on comparable fixtures and 5 points down after 23 games. Make what you will out of that.

of the remaining games against unplayed opponents, last season we only lost to Manchester City at home and Leicester, Manchester Utd and Spurs away.

Normally to have less than 1 point a game will see you relegated. At this moment there are currently six teams in that position. With only 2 points between all six, it would be interesting to see what fixtures they have between each other as points will be dropped.

For the first time this season we are behind on corresponding games with last season.

I think we are ahead by 3 points against comparable teams and also ahead by 2 points against the same number of games as last year.
i.e 40 / 32 as opposed to 38 / 32 last year. So ahead all round. Someone I'm sure will tell us accurately :)

We got 8 points from the remaining corresponding fixtures last season. I think that 5, tops, is realistic. That would put us where we were last season but possibly a position place or two higher. Given that we have lost our key play makers for most of this season as well as the rest of the catalogue, I don't think that's too shabby.

I did notice Sky saying we've only lost 3 of 14 at home..a few draws but not beaten to keep our heads above water.

Ok probably end up with 2 more but that isn't a shabby record really.

Away form has been an issue but it probably is for most sides outside the top 6/7.
