Personally I thought that was the worst performance since we were promoted to the Premiership. It leaves us slumped in the bottom three, six points from safety and it’ll need a huge effort to turn things around.

Over the last few seasons 36 points has been enough for safety. To achieve 36 points we would need 31 points from the remaining 27 games which equates to 1.15 points per games.

1.15 points per game equates to 44 points in a 38 game season.

It’s not impossible, but from somewhere we HAVE to find the form from previous seasons, just to get to 36 points to give us a fighting chance of survival.

    Burnley 0 Swans 1 (+3)*
    Swans 0 Hull 2 (-3) (0)***
    Leicester 2 Swans 1 (Same) (0)
    Swans 2 Chelsea 2 (-2) (-2)
    Southampton 1 Swans 0 (Same) (-2)
    Swans 1 Man City 3 (-1) (-3)
    Swans 1 Liverpool 2 (-3) (-6)...............................Guidolins last game.
    Arsenal 3 Swans 2 (-3) (-9)..................................Bradleys first game.
    Swans 0 Watford 0 (-2) (-11)
    Stoke 3 Swans 1 (-1) (-12)
    Swans 1 Man Utd 3 (-3) (-15)

Last Seasons Points Total - 47pts.

Compared to last season we are currently on schedule for 32pts (If we get the same results in the remaining corresponding games.)

Last seasons points per game ratio: 1.24. This seasons points per games ratio: 0.45
This seasons points prediction based on current points per game ratio: 17.3

Points per game ratio under Guidolin (this season only) : 0.57
Points per game ratio under Bradley: 0.25

    “ Burnley replaced Newcastle
    ** Middlesborough replaced Norwich
    *** Hull replaced Aston Villa

Swans Premier League Points & Positions
    2011/12 - 47pts (11th)
    2012/13 – 46pts (9th)
    2013/14 – 42pts (12th)
    2014/15 – 56pts (8th)
    2015/16 – 47pts (12th)

I'm doing you a favour. Relegation to the Championship won't be so hard to take when you've had months to mentally prepare for it <laugh>

Championship is a great division that im looking forward too........It's where we belong but we have had a fair crack and made a lot of money for the greedy bar-stewards, We deserve to go down through lack of investment in the right players and the lack of ambition and it serves the club right....<ok>

We are discussing this very subject down the Arthur, and it was so much better experience in the championship with the team we had then, I cannot wait for the our board to lose their £100 Million jack pot, and for us to get rid of the crap we have in the dressing room too!

Plus I want that ****er Jenkins out of our club also, which will happen if we go down!....... <ok>

An improved performance from our last game with a precious away point in the bank, although we almost had all three.

From here the only way is up as we are now rock bottom of the league, however we are one point closer to safety after West Ham and Crystal Palace losing.

Lets hope Chelsea give Middlesborough a going over tomorrow.

Next up will be Crystal Palace in our first six pointer of the season!

Points from 17th position: -5 (Last week: -6)

    Burnley 0 Swans 1 (+3)*

    Arsenal 3 Swans 2 (-3) (-9)...................................First Match for Bradley
    Swans 0 Watford 0 (-2) (-11)
    Stoke 3 Swans 1 (-1) (-12)
    Swans 1 Man Utd 3 (-3) (-15)

Just to look on the bright side I’d thought I’d have a look at our “easier” fixtures which await us until the New Year. Against the same teams last year we had the following results:

    Swans 1 Crystal Palace 1
    Tottenham 2 Swans 1
    Swans 2 Sunderland 4
    West Brom 1 Swans 1
Middlesbrough v Swans (Middlesborough replaced Norwich – who beat us 1-0)
    Swans 0 West Ham 0
    Swans 2 Bournemouth 2

So in our corresponding fixtures against the "easier" teams last season we amassed 4 points in 7 games!!

    P7 W0 D4 L3

I just thought I’d cheer you up!

A huge win for the Swans as we rescue three points in an amazing game at The Liberty. We now have 4 points from 6, which is our best run of the season.
