Talk now is about increased contracts for some players, looks like Zahore & Gunnar set to sign for a few more years.

 

I reckon we'll end up with Rotherhams side before long

 

Dai - Zahore already signed until the summer of 2020. I can't see either City nor him increasing that right now.

Gunnar only has a year left on his contract though, so City should nail him down or sell him this window - he could walk away for nothing this time next year.

Surely we learned lessons from Lambert. Jagielka is apparently on £50k per week!!!!

The only reasons for considering this would be: -

1. Manga is off.
2. We will take £3/4m from the Wendies for Morro.
3. Lambert is going thus freeing up a large chunk of wages.
4. Jagielka will take a sizeable wages cut.

On the positive side, he is still a current international (but for how much longer) and he was a fairly regular player in the Prem last year.

 

Don't we have enough CBs?
And full backs.
A CM and another winger then move a few on.

Let's get on with it. End of the week then stop.

Good bit of business right there. I'm not sure whats going to happen now though and can only assume that Morrisson is possibly on his way out (God I hope thats true).

Morrison on his way or three at the back. Possibly Bruno the dark destroyer in front of the back four seeing as Warnock wants gunnar playing further up the park.

Options. Wow. And not your chuck a different eleven players every week and hope for the best from ole.

Remote - I like that idea of playing Manga as a mobile destroyer in front of a Morro/Bamba CB combo. Gunnar further up the park would cause problems for most teams.

If we can't find another playmaker at a reasonable price then Pilks in there could be an answer. Maybe not the obvious one we were looking for perhaps but he has the skills.

Pilks playing behind Zorro and Danno with Gunnar riding shotgun seems a bit narrow but what the hell if it works.
