    How on earth Ellis Short managed to pass the fit and proper person test to buy the club in the first place is beyond me.

    The way he has run our club is nothing short of disgraceful. He should hang his head in shame and not be allowed anywhere near any sporting venture ever again.

    It's a dreadful situation when your chairman cares nothing for the club and there's nothing you can do about it. I'm at peace with Ashley atm, but I wouldn't trust him. Horrible bloke.

    Drumaville were going bust Bill, they had no money left and only guaranteed 40m of debt which they'd reached. That's why Quinn got Short in with them, to prop them up and fund our summer spending while Short slowly increased his stake.
