Tall, skinny, 21 year old striker, currently not performing very well - that description reminds me of a certain Ross Jenkins. GT's opinion of him was that, due to his physique, he would mature late as a player - and, boy was he right...
When Ross Jenkins first joined he looked awful, gangly, awkward and fairly slow. So long ago now, I'm not sure how long it took him to drastically improve, maybe half as season? just a guess.
He was tall, but similar to Crouch (another Taylor 'discovery'), people got distracted by his height. Jenkins, like Crouch, was fabulous and probably better with his feet.

Player in "wants to prove himself and move to a bigger club" shock... Surely that's pretty much what every player wants to do, and would generally say the same things. The Sun sees to have sensationalised some pretty standard quotes.
