Tall, skinny, 21 year old striker, currently not performing very well - that description reminds me of a certain Ross Jenkins. GT's opinion of him was that, due to his physique, he would mature late as a player - and, boy was he right...
When Ross Jenkins first joined he looked awful, gangly, awkward and fairly slow. So long ago now, I'm not sure how long it took him to drastically improve, maybe half as season? just a guess.
He was tall, but similar to Crouch (another Taylor 'discovery'), people got distracted by his height. Jenkins, like Crouch, was fabulous and probably better with his feet.
Confirmed; Watford FC @WatfordFC OFFICIAL: Mauro Zárate has joined #watfordfc from @acffiorentina in a two-and-a-half-year deal.
A rare thing just happened.... Watford U23's 3 - Crystal palace U23's 0 Two goals from Obi & one from Folivi
The ref for the Burnley match has been announced - Michael Oliver. Fourth time this season & brings mixed feelings. Good = Man U at home. Bad = Spurs at home & Liverpool away...
Er - no. The last time this account 'tweeted' was 15/12/2012... The real one is WatfordFC@WatfordFC - it has the Twitter-inserted verified tick
With thanks to WML here is a list of our revised squad, birthdays and how long their contract is for. http://wfc.net/players.htm It shows 19 "foreign" so two will have to be left out.
As most have said on here, one is likely to Peyrera with how long he's out for. See from that list that it's Pantilimon's birthday today - I haven't seen anything about how bad his injury is.

Player in "wants to prove himself and move to a bigger club" shock... Surely that's pretty much what every player wants to do, and would generally say the same things. The Sun sees to have sensationalised some pretty standard quotes.
