If we take into consideration the owners and most of the squad its pretty much international. However they are ungrateful and have panicked
He's not. He's just been utterly **** for about 6 months now. Had we signed him in the summer we'd have sacked him a long while ago. He's the most successful manager we've ever had (and probably ever will have) but if he's going to take this set of players down (we're heading in that direction) then he obviously can't continue to do so. There's been plenty of fans from other clubs saying things like "They'd have taken relegation if you'd offered them the league" and that is absolutely true. Trouble is we didn't sign up to that "deal". We won the league because we've got a lot of good players here and a manager that steered them wonderfully towards the title. We've now had 2 horrendous transfer windows and one of the most miserable seasons I've known. There absolutely had to be a change. Had we been about 12th and not looking like going down then he would have been allowed to have the rest of the season and the opportunity to walk. Going down has the potential to ruin 10 years of hard work and investment. Sorry, but there's a fine line between sentiment and stupidity. I'm extremely sad that it's turned out this way because Claudio is a complete gentleman. But if we're going to go down (no goal in 2017) then something has to change, we can't accept relegation.
one of the most miserable seasons you have ever known!! Come on fella you where in the lower leagues not long ago...
Should have made it more clear, I meant in terms of performances and results. The Champions League has been the shining light, without that it would have proper ****ing miserable
BBC Sport @BBCSport Leicester caretaker boss Craig Shakespeare has denied a player revolt led to the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.
Love this type of "news". What was he going to say? That the players all think Claudio's a prick and that they couldn't wait for him to go? Craig's cut from the same cloth as Nigel, only with a lid on it. If we beat Liverpool then I wouldn't be surprised to see Shakey given it till the end of the season.
Imagine that.... Part of the England set up, part of the Champions back room team to being out of a job when the new boss arrives..
"Hissing .... really haven't had chance to think about it. Can I do the job? Yes. Does it phase me? No. But the focus is on Monday night....... more hissing" I hope he gets it.
If they had not won anything last year and plied their trade in the bottom third of the PL, and followed it up with what they have done so far this season, Claudio, nice guy that he is, would have been given the boot by now. No one would have batted an eyelid. In professional sports teams, aka a business , loyalty is only for emotional stakeholders called fans. The business people run the company. Show me the ruthless successful business person who would not fight tooth and nail to prevent the loss of a single dollar. Their game is revenue, not the self-mobile entertainment machinery out on the grass floored workshop - and if the machines don't perform up to expected standards, the operators will get the sack. The King is dead, Long live the King. Anyone remember a guy called Mike Phelan?
So, after a comedy of errors in defence, a loss to Tempest diesel ultimately led to the relegation of the European champions. All's well that ends well.
Leicester don't have a lot of good players though Morgan is gash, the fact he played in champions league literally led me to follow my dream apply to nasa.. because miracles seem to be real Vardy 5 goals season b4 title win 5 goals season after title win Average player Miracle season Mahrez is alright but another miracle season Fuchs.. miracle season Huth journeyman miracle season The teams good enough to stay up, but not a top 10 team by any shot.. they'll probably finish 14th this season now though
