    I think my brain is correct. Usually works ok.
    What I'm hoping is with Virgil back we will be a bit less cautious and maybe score once in a while. I miss the high tempo pressing.
    We were never going to better Everton or Utd so can't complain about 8th place.
    I too would like stability, would like to see if puel can be a draw for some players as pochy poo and koeman were.

    And the corollary is not always true either. We played some **** football in the second division with McMenemy until he eventually came good and that was mainly because he improved his coaching team which is what we now need to do. Anyone who saw us play when we had Lawson Chatterley in midfield will know exactly what I mean. It was the arrival of John Mortimore as coach that changed Saints into a good side.
