Dawson's been injured for the start of the last two seasons, I think. So, we need some cenner backs in now.
You have to treat stats accordingly, but according to this article http://soccersouls.com/2017/07/21/w...t-will-this-liverpool-ace-bring-to-hull-city/ Ryan Kent's key stats last season included: 38 starts (+8 sub appearances) 4 goals 1 assist The standout stat, if correct, is a winger with 1 assist after playing some part in every league game. I began with an important caveat granted, but it does make you wonder hoiw he earnt such rave reviews last season, unless those reviews have been somewhat enhanced by a Liverpool friendly media?
Of course football isn't a purely stats based game and they can be highly misleading regarding performance, but those stats are ****ing woeful.
I think assist stats in particular are something to take with a huge pinch of salt. I have no idea what actually constitues an assist, but you often see very surprising figures for assists where players who clearly create a lot don't see to be awarded many assists.
isn't it the last attacker to touch it before the scorer? so A could dribble through half the team, pass to B, B miskicks and defender pushes it to C who scores - B gets the assist?
Agreed. Look up Josh Morris at Scunny - his assist stats are amazing. Have to say I'm surprised nobody has taken a punt on him as he scores quite a few goals as well. Last season 19 goals and 17 assists from midfield.
I think Portugal will have us again! We are really boosting their economy and air trade with all these outgoings and incomings.
