Don't agree. Actions of the club of course are the main factor but find it hard to believe that (for example) people tweeting Sam Clucas and saying 'save your self and get out of here' don't have any impact over time. Makes it seem like the fans have given up - which of course some have done.
For what it's worth I think we'll bring in some decidedly average players that will have very little experience in this league. We might bring in the odd donkey in his mid 30's who was once half decent and some fans will get excited as they'll remember what said player was once capable of. Our band of misfits will be managed, no doubt to the best of his abilities, by a bloke with no experience of English football whilst being unably supported by a bunch of no marks like this Darnbrough clown. It's a recipe for disaster. We'll finish just above the relegation places with crowds around the 12,000 mark. I won't be one of them.
1. A midfielder early thirties with loads of premier experience. 2. Centre back early thirties with loads of premier experience 3. Teenager who just won a major youth tournament with England. 4. A recent Scottish international midfield player who would have earned his wages in the Championship. 5. Young current Scottish first choice fullback. 6. A goalkeeper who was our first choice and would have been one of the best in the Championship. 7. A fullback whos just won the ACON. 8. Harry at £17m, and some will still say it was a cheap sale. = One Pickford, with one year as a first choice top flight keeper, I wouldn't say that's decent value.
No sign of Robertson in any of the seventeen photos the club just posted of this mornings training session.
I'm not sure what parallel universe £2m is decent money for Jakupovic or Huddlestone, it's pitiful fees in today's market.
On twatter it could be some supporter of some other club telling Clucas to leave, it really means **** all.
There's some right bellends on Twitter, apart from the usual numpties that abuse our own players after a poor performance, there's people like this dickhead @donkeydiomande
I thought that would've been "I'm desperate to manage in England so I'll do what you say, won't cause any issues and I'm cheap".
There must be three worse teams than us....2nd season syndrome will see Burton do a Rotherham.. Then its 2 from Wall, Barnsley, Preston, Brentford, Bolton. I've actually got us finishing on 64 points which was good enough for 10th last season, unless there is a total collapse I can't see us going for a Burton
