David Anderson @MirrorAnderson Burnley's No 1 target Andy Robertson is waiting to see if Liverpool move for him. Clarets also looked at Bristol City's Joe Bryan.
Robertsom is no better than us realistically, Burnley would only be a good move because they are still pl. He's not good enough for a top 6 club, maybe he thinks liverpool are deciding between him and salah..
I think Robbo will do well at a top 6 club. He's the epitome of a modern day footballer - good engine and a decent delivery of the ball. I also think he's one of those players that will play better amongst better players.
Robertson will have a long wait then , maybe he will leave it too long and Burnley might tell him to forget it and he will stay here
With Robertson due to leave, are we even trying to get Tymon to sign a new deal? I know he's getting interest from Stoke and other clubs, but are we even trying or is it accepted he's leaving too?
West Brom and Hull battle for Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazy (The Sun) He's a 6'5" centre back, currently at Al-Ahly (In 2011, when he was 20, Fiorentina paid €1.5m for him).
He's pretty good, although I only watched him at Ismaily, I've heard he went off the boil a bit once he moved. BCC would probably have more info but he was incredibly highly rated by the Egyptian fans. Scores a few headers as well.
Football League world have us linked with Ayala again, apparently he's grown disillusioned at Boro and is available for £1.7m. I be we aren't and he isn't and he's not. But I'd take him.
He made 3 appearances in the league before being shipped out to Perugia on loan, where he made 10 more appearances. So he didn't really have a good time of it. EDIT: He sustained a knee ligament injury which kept him out for 6 months. He then injured the same ligament a year later and was out for another 6 months. Hmmm....he'll fit right in then.
Explains why I've never heard of him then. I've never seen him play but that doesn't sound good on paper.
I don't wanna go all poodle but unless something drastic happens and soon then I think we're in real ****ing trouble.
