Silly money being chucked about with Tevez, Oscar etc. Now seems Costa's agent might be going to get in on the act... Could be interesting couple of years as money clearly talks. I bet some bigwigs at premier league not happy.
The money will be great, but at least we won't hear any bragging about it on Facebook, twitter or Instagram. Just a small indication of the drawback of moving there.
Go away you secret Scum supporter. I don't give a f@k about any of those players you mentioned they're not Rs Go enjoy watching Scum, I don't waste my time watching them in any way shape or form and am not interested in anything to do with the Scum
Pretty sure that the Chinese football leagues are sponsored by their government hence the silly money being banded around. Will be interesting to see just how sustainable it will be in the future...maybe sky will invest there?
I watched a documentary about Chinese football it was basically the most corrupt game in the World. Mobsters at the game telling the players to dive or give a goal away. Or the ref giving false penalties. No thanks, let the greedy sods go there and deal with the Chinese mob.
Wowzers.....wtf is this all about? The OP poses an interesting question and should be open to discussion, it's not simple prejudice about a couple of as you put it "Scum" players. You've obviously a problem with that lot from the posh/rich part of the Borough, but to insult Surreyhoop with such a post is bang out of order.......Tone it down Yappy.
What was the doc, Ellers ? Sounds very interesting. The money being dished out by teams from the Chinese league is totally out of this planet and as the doc seems to imply, the cash surely can't all be legit.
The Chinese have said that they want to massively develop football in the country, and they seem to be starting at the top by throwing money at big name foreign players However, without a good quality league they will find it difficult to gain real interest in the league from overseas supporters - a few good players don't make a good quality league But if these players start generating a lot more grassroots interest in the game domestically we could see the game develop there very quickly. A massive country with massive potential A slow burner maybe, but I can see China doing well internationally in a couple of World Cup's time
The first ones out the door are the greedy ones with absolutely no loyalty to their current employers. To see Costa is so eager to go is not surprising in the slightest. To see Tevez already out there is no surprise either.
Please note this a has some bad language. Mods if not suitable I will understand (sorry) please log in to view this image
Now you got me thinking Staines. It may have been a sky news special report into football corruption. I will have a search and see if I can post a link. It's coming back now it was regarding illegal betting on games
I'm hearing a report that Peter Odemwingie is in the carpark of Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC wanting to crunch a deal. Harry Redknapp is flying in on a private charter to act on his behalf in case Jimmy Floyd Hasslebanks' plane is delayed from Singapore.
The Chinese are only following the example set by the PL, Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG. You could argue any player moving clubs for a better deal should be tarred with the same brush.
