So McCarthy wins in battle with Targett for most serious hamstring injury, ever.

He may have meant "another" cold, but it was lost in translation?

 

I suspect that the injuries were more serious than a simple ham string, but that is bad enough and could be career ending if they can't be put right. Have some sympathy, it is a players career on the line here.

 

I want us to hammer Hull, not just because of wanting Swansea to stay up but because I'm going to St Mary's. Only my third Saints game and I've seen a 1-1 draw and a loss (at Wembley ) I'm sure that I deserve a win

 

I hope Claude is saying exactly that to the players.

I think I'd prefer Spurs in some ways. They feel like more of a team where work has actually gone into the coaching side of things. Rather than an expensively assembled group of individuals.

Last game, I turned up at the Guide Dog, just bought a pint, then got a call from FLT to say they were headed to the Old Farmhouse, so I necked it quick and headed there (well, there was a free birthday pint going - wasn't going to miss that )
I' m not having 2 pints again before a game - we lost badly and I kept having to nip out to be "excused" as Private Godfrey would have said ....

I'm happy to meet in either - probably the Farmhouse as it's more "central" for everyone, though the beer in the Guide Dog (My brother in law tells me the green beer in there is really good) is better .......
