From memory, Deloitte and Forbes both have your revenue as sixth or seventh, behind Arsenal, somewhat bizarrely.

We've just about overtaken them now according to recent figures. Only thanks to the Mickey Mouse pricing though <grr>

Thats because you would pay the ££££ in wages, same as City and UTD, If West ham offered silly wages they would want to go there as well, so your post is pointless.

    Exactly, club size can change.

Chelsea and even Tottenham were much bigger clubs than Arsenal until they moved out of South London and a had a huge cash injection from a Tory MP. City were also a much bigger club than United pre-War. Everton equally a much bigger club than Liverpool until the 70s.

Things change all the time depending on success, wealth and fortune

London and Home Counties is where our support is mostly at, but it extends to parts of the Midlands as well.

Difference between living 30 miles away from the team you support and 300.

People can support who they want but attaching yourself to a successful club of which you have no connection to isn't for everybody.

I wasn't aware of Chelsea having any real support in the Midlands. Milton Keynes and Northampton perhaps, where the nearest big sides are the London teams, but their support north of Coventry will be miniscule compared to the masses that flock for their once a season day out to Old Trafford from Euston.

True, but I do see kids with there Chav shirts on, when Im in Brum.

Still every football club in the world would love to have the support UTD have.

Nor was I until recently. When we played Wolves in the cup I was quite surprised to see Chelsea fans in their dozens on the train to Wolverhampton.

No they wouldn't. No sense of belonging or people you can relate to. Every club in the world is glad they aren't a Man U.

Chelsea will never be particularly popular in some countries due to their objectionable stances on racism over the past 30 years. On that subject they are a stain on English football.

Gloryhunters are indeed objectionable. Racist gloryhunters are much worse though. That's a fact as your new leader would say.

Agreed, racism is implorable. Not quite sure what the relevance is to the topic though
