It was a pleasure to enjoy the fine debut of Joe Aribo yesterday. For those who have not yet seen him, he resembles a more skilful and technically more accomplished version of Jordan Cousins. A very good 'engine' and mobility to get around the pitch, combined with a decent amount of skill.

They talk about fickle fans and here is an example. We nicked a 1-0 win against MKD and with a good second half at Roots Hall, we grabbed another point. And suddenly, I expect a win from this fixture. I don't know if it is talk of Tony (1 goal in 12 starts) Watt returning, the effect of the 5-1 win at their place, or simply the aftershock of drawing at Southend, but I'll go for a 3-2 win today. I haven't heard more anout our mystery signing yesterday, but I have this bizarre optimism that suggests I have been in a coma for the previous 18 months.
