Just wondered what everyone thought of the chances of seeing Sess at some point during tomorrows game? I understand Muntari will definatly play no part untill Stoke but what about Sess? Could he start? Come on as a sub?
definitely on bench at least. Could start depending on fitness. Although team from Blackpool was pretty good
Just noticed on safc.com says Sess could make his debt against Chelsea tomorrow night. Although this is on the section where they are advertising tickets for the Chelsea game so may just be for ticket sale puropses to entice the fans in?
I think we'll see him, but i very much doubt he'll start in such a difficult game, having missed a fair bit of training. I can't wait to see this lad, stroll on tomorrow night!
I'm with Brucey, I think he will be on the bench and come on to a warm Sunderland welcome. My son and his mates are going to try and get a cheer going every time he touches the ball if he comes on.
Gotta agree with this. Cant start a newbie against the champions IMO, especially after the result at Stamford Bridge.
I hope he does, because without Welbeck we need someone creative in there. Read somewhere (been trying to find it, but failed) this morning that neither would feature.
What number did he get lads? Was Summerbee's '28' right, if so he's worth following on twitter as he said that last thursday i believe? I'm gonna make a right racket for Sess if he comes on, i have a hunch i won't be alone!
I think there will be a cracking atmosphere if he does get a run out. I think it may be wise to start with him on the bench but if he is reasonably fit why not give him 15/20 mins? If were behind what have we got to lose and if were in front he may just help us get another to seal a win! Heres hoping!
Totally agree mate, i think the only way we won't see him is if we are 1-0 up and hanging on, any other scenario and he'll get a run out, i'm sure of it. I'm gonna hoy a tenner on him to score if the odds are decent!
I was at Seaham Hall on friday night and he was at the gym at about 6 o'clock giving it some hammer on the treadmill, didn't look too out of shape to me. (obviously theres a difference in fitness to match fitness) I doubt he'll start but definately think he'll get a run out.
Maybe this answers the question? - http://www.safc.com/news/20110131/sessegnon-to-make-debut_2256213_2280908 Now with Zenden out aswell. I cant wait for tomorrow night!
