Can't see Chopra getting that many, he'll be suspended for a lot more games now the Welsh FA aren't protecting him. Good signing though.
Interesting to see if Chopra can remain fit and Jewell can keep him on the straight and narrow. A fit and focussed Chopra is, arguably, the best striker in the division. Shame that he's not been fit and mentally strong enough for a while now. If Long, by some miracle, does stay at Reading then my money would be on him. I also think Maynard will re-discover his form and fitness and could well be challenging for top goalscorer.
With a goal every 5 appearances so far in his career I would think most championship midfielders would outscore Wickham. Jose Fonte scores about 1 in 9, so a similar prowess in front of goal...far more handsome too.
Maynard, if he stays in the championship, which TBH I don't see happening. If he doesn't I'll say Jay Rodreguez, Unless he leaves the division. If he does, I'll say Shane Long, you know what's coming. If he leaves, I'll say Kamara, that's if he signs for Leicester. If he doesn't I'll say Yakubu, but yet again would have to sign for Leicester first. If he doesn't, I'll say Chopra. That's the end.
Kamara has signed for a turkish side and we wont be signing Yak unless he lowers his wage demands which are unlikely. So we are after Matt Derbyshire, David Nugent and Nicky Maynard
