Lindergaard signs on loan, James has now signed permanently for Droylsden and Sam Johnstone departs back to United to be third choice keeper thanks to the clueless Dutch bloke who is manager there. We had a bid for Johnstone turned down this week. Getting to the point were we seriously need to actually sign a decent permanent keeper.
No further business for NE. Apparently teams do not want to let their strikers go and are asking too much, or players want too much. So Messi is staying with Barca! Over the hill anyway!
No surprises with the released list, Little, Reid, Kilkenny, Kirkland, plus youngsters Heaton, Anderton and Ryan
The only time I saw JB play was the 0 - 2 defeat to Posh in January. Like the rest of the team, he did not play well. Opinion on LEP, from real supporters, is that he would hardly get a game because of Browne, Johnson, Humphrey, Gallagher, Pearson, Grimshaw, and Welsh. Should NE get Isgrove and Reach, JB would be back on loan. I believe Reach is going elsewhere though. True?
Hardly produced the goods for Charlton but then the club and team was in chaos. SG seems to be determined to sign him...must have seen something in him beyond being 6'7". I hope.
