What's your guys take on all the cash which is being spent these days in the Championship?

NUFC have spent a bit (but made a profit), Villa have spent a lot too as have a few others.

Is the cash filtering down the leagues or do you think some clubs are over stretching?

I note with interest that Brighton posted something like a £20m loss recently which cannot be good for the game?

You Sunderland lads need to start debating all things Championship Gordon... get some practice in fella. These are serious real world issues.

Once Pompey have been taken over by American billionaire Michael Eisner, they will have plenty of money to spend - hopefully in Division One next season :1980_boogie_down:

    Money...what's that?

Our owner apparently has a lot of it but we never see any.

Parachute payments are making the championship a tougher league.

It will bring better players into the league though. Well, maybe.

It will more likely be the same standard of player but with a much larger price tag <doh>

How much does a good Parachute cost these days? Also, why do football clubs feel the need for a Parachute when plying their football trade in the championship?

Look, I know we already have a good thread on this forum that deals with all aspects of confusion, but this has really stumped me?

    Please help?

During the second world war, parachute material was used to make ladies knickers. Do you reckon Championship players take used parachutes home with them so that they can make drawers for their wives/girlfriends ?

    Just wondering.......
