Spurs were in pot 3 because of the current regime. And the same reason Atletico were in pot 2 and not pot 1. "Either way you look at it, it's a piss easy group in comparison to some of the others." Easier than your and Citeh groups, certainly. But as I said, I do not expect complacency about CSKA, and certainly not Leverkusen. In fact, the fixture draw giving us CSKA away first should ensure total focus.
CSKA Moscow are 1st seed because they are champions of one of the top 7 leagues. Spurs are the tenth best ranked after the tip 7 league champs plus Real Madrid (holders) so are in the third pot. Leverkusen just scrape into the second pot. I think Spurs have drawn the lowest ranked team they could from the first two pots and the highest ranked from the fourth pot.
It's an interesting group. Whilst you've avoided all of the big guns, overall your group is not that easy (not that any CL groups are to be honest) But I think you have a spread of decent teams, with no huge club and no walkovers.
CSKA are top seeds because they are Russian champions,Leverkuen are second seeds,S**** third and Monaco fourth
None of those 3 as such. The losers or next placed team from the winners league don't get it. The UEFA acess list is already done: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_UEFA_Champions_League#Distribution If the Europa winners also qualify by league position it doesn't change. If they don't then the team from the lowest country in the rankings of the group stage or play off round drop down into the prior round to replace the team of the lowest ranked country in that round and so on, all the way down. Hope that helps.
