Absolutley spot on. Real have out-thought and outplayed Juve in all departments both legally and in the darker arts. The Juve substitute completely fell for Ramos's tricks. Well done Real, an absolute masterclass. A team that knows how to win at the deep end of things. Can they get a hatrick of victories next year.

PS: Mallorcans will be pleased with the scorer of the 4th goal - Ascensio who was recommended to Real by none other than Rafa Nadal!

Cuadrado was a bit stupid in falling for Ramos's box of tricks in the first place!! There is a lesson for all players. Not to get involved with Ramos when on a yellow!!!

Ramos had better retire before VARs comes in because he'll find himself off the pitch, instead of the player he focuses on.

He will adapt and make sure to put the VARs out of action.

Real' first goal was just a reconstruction of Redmobd's first at Watford this season.

Presume they watched lots of us in the build up....

Have to say that all those fireworks and tickertape does absolutely nothing for me. Make a long climb up some steps, collect your trophy, turn and face the crowd and raise the trophy. That's how it should be done.

Gary Lineker finding it slightly hard to praise Real Madrid too much. ;)

Probably he is thinking of the Ramos incident but by then the game was up for Juve. What is impressive is the chemistry between some very strong characters in that dressing-room and Zidane. He respects them, they respect him. That is some achievement with the likes of Ramos, Ronaldo, Marcelo, Kroos, Modric and Benzema.

No, I think there was the Barcelona element there. Giving RM praise was just sticking in his throat very slightly. ;)

The ref is stupid too. It's so obvious that Ramos is making the most of it. Give him a yellow too then they'd both be off.

IIRC correctly, a teammate of Ramos patted him on the back as he was gyrating around on the floor. It was either to say, "OK mate, you've done enough", or was it seemed to me, "keep going mate, the ref is going to reach into his pocket."

What made it particularly sickening was that as soon as Cuadrado was shown the second yellow and red, Ramos popped up like a jack-in-the-box, with no injury [as expected as he went down like a sack of potatoes with barely any contact] at all, and with a slight grin. This stuff is not to be condoned at all.

What a reception tonight for Real Madrid arriving back in Madrid. The parade started around 5pm and has just reached the Bernabeau some five hours later where there wiill be a fantastic show to celebrate duodecima!! These guys are far more important than El Rey who had nobody watching on his inaugaration day. The Royal Family here is not the Bourbon Family but the players of Real Madrid.
