Just read that tweet from LCFC

    April 3 2015 - 7 pts from Safety
    April 3 2016 - 7 pts clear up top.

    Incredible.

Leicester's 7pts lead with 6 to go is not 100% banker yet.
Manu has lost 8pts from last 6 games few years ago (worst lead lost record).
But the last match 3pts is 100% given at the bridge. Leicester should feel comfortable.
Virtually Leicester have 5 matches to protect 7pts. Not bad eh?

Need 2 more wins to seal it & We need to shut Spuds up in the Bridge. Simples.

Can't realistically see Spurs winning every remaining game so I think they can afford to drop eight points, perhaps more.

  3. I know Chelsea have been the worst defending champions ever the in Prem, but I'm wondering if Leicester will top that, next season? Could we see the league champions relegated the season after winning the title, for the first time ever in footballing history?

Firstly it has happened before unless football started in 1992.

    Secondly, no.

  5. For the purposes of my argument, let's assume football started in 1992. Does that alter your reply, Watford?

Only if football only exists in England.

Only if you're referring exclusively to the top division, HIAG.

It does, HIAG, but they are silly assumptions.

  11. Yes!

I told you that, if that did happen, it would make Leicester's fall from grace the worst in footballing history, didn't I!

lets not focus about next season.
This season - do you think Leicester will falter?

    I don't see it 1%.

  13. It would appear that the Gods of Football have decreed that, this season, a complete underdog will win the league, no doubt for some evil purpose concocted for their own sport.

If Leicester win against Sunderland and Spurs lose to United next time out .......Spurs could win the rest of their games and get 77 points ...Arsenal could win the rest of their games and get 79 points , Man C can win the rest of their games and get 75 points . Leicester are at 72 with 5 to play , and everyone else won out .If Leicester beat Sunderland and Spurs lose to United ........I'm afraid I'm going to have to call CNN to have them call it ....Foxes lift the Cup

    Chelsea have a huge say.
Spuds visit us & Leicester's last three points is at the Bridge.

We could easily help Leicester with +4 or +6 points right there over Spuds. Eventually sealing & delivering the league to the Foxes.

  19. I agree, that to have any chance of winning the title, we have to win every one of our 6 matches.

It isn't going to have happen, although I do think we ought to beat United fairly easily. Chelsea is going to be our stumbling block.
