Not convinced by this one. Short term contract to test his fitness. To me he's not going to be anywhere near fit enough to partner Lambert. Mind you even half fit, he'll be streets better than Ken & Fred
Look at it as a win win situation. If he flops he can sweet foxtrot oscar in January and hopefully Warnock already has his sights set on some targets for the transfer window. If he does well then we can look at extending the contract. I have to agree though that he will be a major step up from the conference quality strikers we have in Fred Elliott and Kenneth Barlow!!!
Warnock said on BBC that Lambert is carrying an injury and cannot play 3 games in a week hence this signing. While Im sure we will see them on the pitch together at times Chamakh is primarily to cover Lambert.
