    When you click what they want you to click you fall for it, and they are going steal all your details I have never operated account with
    Barclays Bank. That makes the email suspicious.

    Just e-mail them back and tell them you are glad they have contacted you as you have forgotten your password and would like them to e-mail/post it to you.

    When your bank is writing to you they will not say dear customer, they are going to mention your name.
