Next Europe game is 24th of this month...reckon he'll be in for that? Could do with him since Suarez can't play. It's our only chance of a trophy this season, so it's certainly worht going for.

When we played Man Utd in the first game of the season Carroll gave Vidic and co. a really hard time, even though he was up front on his own. He should have scored with a good header from a corner, which 4 times out of 5 would end up in the back of the net. Not many defenders will fancy playing against this lad.

Didn't look fit enough to me to be honest. But the only way he's going to get that is with match fitness. I felt like he was holding back. Maybe his brief was 'Don't push yourself'.
