It's a nothing story. I get his point though they have some good players and they now need to deliver a trophy, any trophy.

Can't see Lloris staying for much longer unless they can do something bit more than bottle 2nd place

Hopefully he'll go to Real as DDG is needed in Manchester.

They need an alternative to Kane, great when he's scoring but when he's not he's a passenger and they could do with someone with a bit of pace and or trickery up top to give teams a different problem.

While this article clear attempt at provoking responses and ad-click revenue... he does have a point.

When you've got the best squad in your history, you need to be cashing in on trophies and league titles before they all **** off.

This summer Alderweirld will be 28 and Lloris 30. Probably two of Spurs most influential players. If those two decide that they want to start winning things then they will probably go (for a very high price) in the summer.

I've said it before, Spurs' side is the most balanced we've seen in this league (alongside Chelsea's current side) since one of Fergie's last United teams. They just have to start winning things.

Pochettino is a brilliant manager, but I don't think he's got what it takes to push Spurs to the next level. They need a manager that has done it before to come in while they've got this current squad. If Spurs had any of the other top 6 managers (Mourinho, Guardiola, Conte, Klopp or maybe even Wenger) then I think they'd win the league.

Poch has done an awesome job at bringing good players in and getting them to play well together but it sometimes takes someone with that little bit extra to push them to the next level. (Pearson and Claudio being a good example).

You think if Wenger had Spurs' squad right now, he'd win the league? <yikes>

Can't see him staying with you tbh. He's Spanish, and Real are the big draw for Spanish players. I may be wrong though.

As long as Arsenal get top 4.
Other than Chelsea winning the title, Arsenal getting top 4 is all I am worried about.

Who should Spurs next to make them an elite Champions League club?

    Simeone?

He'd be a perfect fit for them.

Winners mentality, never say die. They'd win the league under him.

They won't get rid of Poch though.
    He deserves more time really.
Especially if he gets top 4 on Spurs budget, they have spent a darn sight less than all of the other teams in the top 6, in recent years.
Plus he is still new and young, plenty of time for him to improve.

Bit weird a gooner looking at a spurs player leaving when their greatest player the world has ever seen called Ozil and their Chilean version of Maradona are refusing to sign contracts <whistle>

You've been saying that for 2 years. And him just signing an extension doesn't give you pause for thought?

It makes me think Levy is planning ahead, for when the time comes to sell.
