And so we limp on to the next game. Now I know what a piece of Salami must feel like! Death by a thousand cuts!
As Spanish said why the eff he didn't bring on Williams and throw the kitchen sink at them, useless twot.
I think you'll find we are away to Wigan Jonny, why are we paying £1M for Williams and not playing him? If he doesn't fit in to the system as was said on Radio Suffolk why is he here? I also expected Sears and Williams to come on after we equalised so very disappointed with subs and the time they came on, but to be fair MM did say he might have got his subs wrong.
Williams was brought in to try to appease fans...and try to paper over the fact that ME will not spend any money......same as Conner Grant.....to much Bullshit is served up by this club.
It gets me bloody annoyed when people tell us Ipswich fans that we must be patient!!!! We are THE most patient supporters in the whole country FFS! We have suffered 15 years of being in this hell hole of a division and still we are no further forward and in fact we are going backwards under this idiot! We have suffered under the likes of Keane and Jewell and now 4 years of Hoofball under McCarthy! These so called football experts have not got the first bloody clue about what they are talking about. It's just the same old platitudes sticking up for their mate Mick! This club is in one hell of a mess and sleepwalking into the abyss unless radical change is made soon!
Leon Best not even in the squad yesterday and rumours that the Murphy millions will be made available for transfers in January, yeah right. Evans out!
We paid £1 mill to loan Lawrence, not that I'm happy but if Williams isn't " match fit " then we don't pay. Pretty much a zero risk signing at a very good rate ( we've actually done something well for once ) - however how the hell the lads an unused sub is quite beyond me. Terrible result this, 1-1 home to a side in more of a mess with us and 10 men. As for McCarthy and Varney coming out with mumbo jumbo of harder to play 10 men, behave. Okay, you may think this and a credit to Warnock for making this the case, however we had 20 minutes to figure out a solution. What I will still say - hell we can laugh at this or whatever, is DESPITE yet ANOTHER poor result, we find ourselves ( despite being 17th etc ) not yet fully knowing how the season will pan out. 7 off top 6, 5 off the drop. Does anyone WANT a play off spot this term? Derby have decided they do and have flown up the table. Big week this. Fail to win and we'll be right in the mire. A couple of wins and who knows. I honestly am amazed by the league this term. Gaps normally appear for fun however not this term. For a bit of fun, name me the top 6? I'll go - 1 - Newcastle 2 - Brighton 3 - Derby 4 - Sheff Weds 5 - Norwich 6 - Leeds
We are already in the mire! Seems all fm wants to do is criticise ME but feck me, he don't pick the team, tactics, formation etc. That is down to Mick and he has more than enough to beat the likes of Cardiff
Did we really pay 1million for a loan spell? As for it being 'Harder to play against ten men' if that is the case at least it explains why Douglas gets a start, when he plays we might as well have ten.
We actually did Weighty yep, £1 mill for Lawrence for the season - when you take in wages etc it's not too uncommon. Douglas from what I saw earlier in the season at the games I've been to certainly is not our worst performer this season but agreed we need better. I'm with Field Marshall re the situation - feel quite sorry for Mick especially with Murphy going right before the season opener. Not that I can legislate for all he does but with or without Mick I honestly feel we're a club going absolutely NOWHERE right now. Feels a grim season but while it's so tight.... meh.
