Right, driving to Leeds in an hour or so and left it late to decide what car park I'm going to. I'm going to Belgrave Music Hall - can anyone recommend a good place? Ta
Who the **** votes on such matters? Q-Hello Mr Galante, can you please nominate the safest car park you have parked in this last calendar year? A-Not really sure to be honest. Q-Have a think about it please, lighting? CCTV? Security guards? A-Nope, non the wiser. Then walks off whilst feeling utterly inadequate for his embarrassing lack of car park security knowledge. Hangs head in shame and starts weeping. He'd never parked in The Light shopping centre park though. It wasn't his fault, he knew no better. Calls out 'Maybe Staples' over his shoulder but he doesn't mean it. How could he?
More chance of getting accosted by a prozzy in staples. So I'm going with yours mate. Now where do we vote? By the time party comes out of his gig he'll be in the number two car park. How daft is he gonna feel?
Parked in Merrion Centre. Been a year and half to two years since I'd been round there, seemed like a lot of new stuff. Seemed very big and modern.
I'm ashamed to say, that I may have inadvertently misled people here, with the use of some wholly inappropriate terminology. I should have said 'named' safest car park, rather than 'voted' safest car park. Nobody actually voted for it, it just didn't have a single crime or report of car damage during a calendar year. I'd like to apologise to all my fellow posters for the lax nature of my original post and hope that you find it within yourselves to forgive me.
To be fair you seem to have started something I can see Carmine and Chazz owning the domain name for 'voteforyourcarpark.com' by the end of the day and setting up as an international organisation to rival the Oscars
If we can't get Chris Evans And Mylene Klass to hold the Parkies, I'll buy everyone a round on here. This is our big break.
Klass definitely but I see her co-presenter more as that ITV gimp who has tried every possible discipline to try and be famous, including magician. Is it Stephen something?
Mulhern? I'm not having him anywhere near it. My choice would be Fiona Bruce and Ricky Gervais to host, I can see me and Chazz will have to sit down and discuss this. Need to sort out a venue.
How about a well known pub car park in Prinny Ave? You could get a few hundred seated in there and that car park has history!!
Thinking a bit small here lads, I think you should be going for Beyonce and Charlize Theron to present. In underwear.
I'm not cheapening our award ceremony by having scantily clad birds lolloping about. In fact I don't even want the lovely Fiona Bruce anymore, or Gervais for that matter. To add some gravitas, not that it's needed, I want Frank Bough and Alan Titchmarsh now. Boughers and Titchers it is then.
You need somebody backstage , catching the gossip and doing the interviews to get reactions , I can see Sandy Toksvig fitting the bill for this one
