That´s all very well, but what changes could he realistically have made without getting crucified by the majority of fans. I can imagine what the reaction would have been on here if he´d started Turner and/or Bassong in defence, and the fact that he only ended up making one enforced change, perhaps suggests that the squad isn´t quite as robust as some would like to think, especially when we get a few injuries and suspensions. Anyway, you surely don´t believe everything managers say, do you? He had to say something after the Brighton massacre, and he could hardly have said he was satisfied with the performance and result, and that the same eleven would more than likely start again against Leeds.
So your solution is just to carry on as we are then! Don't change anything and continue our slide down the division! He promised changes and said he would sort it out!! He didn't, it was exactly the same as every other week. OR is it different on the telly??
You don´t change your tune do you? I´m just illustrating the dilemma he finds himself in at the moment, and I dare say a slide is what we will continue with, at least for the immediate future, irrespective of what I or anyone else does or doesn´t do. The players are visibly, mentally shot right now, and it´ll take more than a few changes here and there to put that right, imo.
And I'm pointing out that he said he would change things, sort this mess out, did you notice any difference??
I think people forget how hard the Championship actually is. There are some decent teams that would certainly put the bottom qtr of the Premiership to shame not due to talent but blood sweat and tears as apposed to players who think they have a god given right and don't think they need to put in 100% week in Week Out
Spot on. I watched the Bournemouth Sunderland extended highlights and perfectly highlights youre point Elland. Neither wiuld win promotion from the Championship on that inept performance but fairly sure one of them will survive. Little or no effort from a lot of the prima donnas on show. I see the Norwich faithful are no happier this morning. Oh Dear
Not sure how well manage that unless they make the 3rd round of the FA cup and we draw them. Sorry to see your club in such turmoil though
