As far as possible, I hope AN sticks with more or less the same team as today and play with the same intent, though I appreciate that it will be a completely different proposition. I've always felt that if the team ever 'clicked', we would give someone a solid beating!!!!

How did Mulumbu play today?

 

He was quite impressive - did what he needed to do without any fuss and kept it simple.

 

I can see Howson, Tetty and Mulumbu all starting against Newcastle.

 

I'm hoping we don't see too many changes for Tuesday.

 

I think Jerome will come in for Nelson too. Because of his Physicality and aerial presence.

 

He was impressive - a couple of missed passes but was busy, effective and it will be interesting to see if he keeps his place on Tuesday.

 

Did he pick up a yellow? If not, then maybe he is a nod ahead of Tetty coming back.

 

Well, the pundits on Channel 5 certainly liked Howson's goal and it certainly was a beaut. All our goals looked good I thought and 4 were scored from outside the box.

Just watched highlights again and fully agree, Pritchard's third was a sublime strike.
So the three finalists for Goal Of The Season are pretty much sorted, then ?
