see Spurs bringing someone in before the deadline? Bit off-topic I know, but every time I hear Harry say 'I'm not expecting us to be doing anything today', I get the sense someone is on their way. Like the VDV deal. Why doesn't he just say they're looking at the market rather than declaring himself out of it, then bringing someone in?
Not surprised to see Harry trying to get one thorugh the door at the last minute again, with Charlie Adam narrowly missing out. Do spurs do any scouting, or just read the papers to see who other teams are linked with? Why would they need another midefielder to add to the 50 they already have?
