Norwich City frontman Cameron Jerome looks set for the Carrow Road exit door - with Sunderland in the hunt for his signature.Reports in the South East suggest that 29-year-old frontman Jerome will be allowed to leave the club, with the Canaries willing to listen to offers for the ex-Cardiff, Birmingham, Stoke and Crystal Palace man. And Sunderland could rival Middlesbrough for the centre forward, who scored 16 goals in 40 appearances last season. Jerome was one of the few players to emerge from Norwich's return to second tier football with an semblance of credit under Alex Neil. But with the Scot out the door, Jerome, who has two years left on his current deal, is not thought to be a part of new manager Daniel Farke's plans. And as a result, he is being linked with a switch to the Stadium of Light, even though the Black Cats are currently without a manager. Former SAFC hero Kevin Phillips is favourite for the job, with Derek McInnes second, followed by Simon Grayson. Sunderland's search for a new manager today stretches into its fourth week, with Paul Lambert the latest name to be linked with the post, following on from the resignation of David Moyes over concerns about the club's budget for next season.
Thought this lad was about 35 at this point. He's absolute dogshit. Gary Neville said he knew it was time to retire when he made Cameron Jerome look like Ronaldo. He's a bench mark in being ****e.
16 in 40 isn't a bad return though - not seen him for a season as he's been in a lower league!! That said - how the hell can we be "linked" with players WHEN WE HAVEN'T GOT A ****ING MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!
Lazy journalism putting 2 stories together, won't happen. I do have to comment though on how 5hite he actually is though, had more clubs than Nick Faldo.
He's not ****e at all in Championship terms. He's a 15-20 goal a season striker and won't cost a great deal. Still only 30. Would be a shrewd move to lead the line whilst blooding Asoro and Maja
He's a bit of a journey man isn't he. My last recollection of him is Big Sam throttling him in the technical area when we stuffed them at Carrow Road the season before last. I think he will do a job for us, and if we are going to bring the young strikers through this season they will need a bit of experience in there
A very decent striker for the Championship. Not sure why we are being linked when we haven't got a manager yet.
Hes one of them players that moves from club to club but can never get in the starting 11. If were signing him as a squad player then fair dos. If hes going to be our new #9 then .
Decent for the Championship. About what I was expecting (maybe a bit better) under our circumstances.
