I thought we played well tonight. Not our best because I think we could have stepped up a few gears if needed but it was still a good performance. When I seen Ellis in the starting 11, I was thinking WHY!!!!!! Surely Gaffney against his former side would have been the right choice. Or even throw in new boy Telford. Anyone but Ellis. But Ellis got his goal...... eventually! He had a fair few chances before his goal which was making me feel it was not going to be his night but he did score. I still dont see what DC see's in him. Bench player at our level at best. Just my opinion though. Was good to see Sweeney back and he looked solid at the back. Bodin deserved his man of the match and I thought Sercombe had a good game too and looks a decent signing. Bring on City in the next round
I couldn't be bothered with it last night I'm starting to get a bit disillusioned with it all at the moment mainly due to some arsehole fans that support the club Yeah good win I suppose but wasn't it basically a Cambridge reserve team?
