Probably, think plenty of clubs will be sniffing around him regardless of promotion. Would obviously hope to keep him but every player has their price.

As others have said I think the price will depend alot on whether Fulham go up. If we can replace colback/diame with this lad ill be happy.

 

I agree. That would be a big step up in my view.

 

He plays a more advanced role than Shelvey does and doesn't make as high risk passes as Shelvey does but that said I would be happy if we got him signed as he is good enough for the top ten in my opinion.

If Fulham win make it through the play off's then it would surely mean having to look elsewhere. I think Rafa will pluck a number 10 from Spain personally but he's thought to be an admirer of his.

That Sessegnon is a non-starter though, he's practically a child who has goals from a full back position in the championship. If Fulham sell, you can bet it will be to one of the elite.

 

Cairney > Shelvey.

Shelvey has one aspect to his play - Passing. Stop him and he's anonymous. Cairney on the other hand has a cracking all round game.

The key is getting him somewhere he will no doubt start from the beginning. Preferably somewhere he won't be isolated up front like he was at Barnsley a lot of the time.

 

He tended to sit at the back of the bench, so I don't think he was that isolated most of the time.

 

He's mint. Definitely would give us something different to eat we have in the middle. It's the composure when he receives the ball in tight situations that makes him stand out for me.
