Business As Usual

This FA hearing
Has no real bearing
On how we should tackle this game,
As I´m sure Lambert P.
Knows very clearly
And I´m sure that our lads know the same

Business as usual
No being casual
Just as we saw versus ´Town´,
So that next year
The chance is still there
To don our new Premier League gown

Our will to win
Has kept us well in
At times when we´ve needed it most,
So I´m in no doubt
We will see this out
So near to the finishing post

And although Pompey
Down there by the sea
Will not make it easy, I´m sure,
PL is on hand
To alter the plan
Or come up with a new winning cure

Make sure there´s no holes
And I´m sure the goals
Will go in at the required end,
With Jackson on heat
What odds, a repeat
Of a three-legged goal scoring blend

And time too for Holt
No longer a colt
But still running wild with the best,
To add to his haul
And excite us all
And give those home fans some unrest. OTBC

 

Yet another gem! Good morning RBF, fine sentiments, all we need is to win our next two games, anything outside of that does not concern us!

 

Yup, best policy always has been to concentrate on your own efforts. A simple way to live a life but so many struggle to comprehend.
