I'm just glad we have no injuries and another 3 points in the bag, we need to be taking points from these teams now, we have been here long enough so another good result for our Rookie to silence the Monk critics..............

 

not pretty, taylor looks like he wants a break, a good 3pts into the magic 40`s now. 90% happy with that game.

 

Taylor nearly blew it for us, he needs to watch it! Anyway we are now 8th on 40 points with West Ham below us where they should be and going south as I anticipated they would!.................

I don't think you'll see any difference just because we've reached 40 points.

 

I can't understand the hate shelvey gets here! IMO he's been one of our most important players recently. If he went we would miss him.

Gomis on the other hand MEH...... He's a better defender than striker that's for sure, Replacement is definitely needed.

 

Southampton can't score anymore, and when that happens you'll start dropping. When was the last time Pelle scored after his fast start to the season?

It's not 'hate' it's frustration. Without the occasional wonder pass or hopeful bast that hits the target he's a liability.
He was all over the pitch, often no where useful, which puts stress on others to cover (unless his 'roaming' sty;e has been agreed), he waves his arms about instead of organising himself and he gives the ball away very cheaply.

I know one thing i would rather see shelvey on the team sheet than not...he can be a match winner.....

 

That knob is still in my fantasy team, every week somebody gets injured or a team is missing because of some bleeding semi final so I can't ship him out. His value is dropping and I have been trying to get rid for two frigging months!!!!

Shelvey's game problem is simply consistency, I've said before he could be a great player if only he engaged his brain more, it's this issue why Liverpool let him go.....................

 

I'd have got more points over the last eight weeks if I had him instead! Pelle costs £7.7M, I am doing my nut in here seeing my transfer kitty sink!
