Clearly a lot of work still to do , but we were on a course to be relegated by March under Phelan , he deserves credit to have us still in it
Redknapp isn't wrong with his comments though is he? Everyone gets carried away in football after a few results. That's not to say we're wrong to be getting carried away with how we're looking, but as a neutral observer it will take another month of this form - maybe 7-8 PL games - to really be convinced.
This absolutely! Bet that Marco and his crew are making soome of the same points to the team every day. The really big games are the ones against the teams around and a bit above us in the table.
Redknapp has a lifelong membership of the English Manager's Club. A group of bitter, outdated ex English club managers that resent every appointment of a foreign manager. The game has passed you by 'Arry, enjoy your retirement.
Did anyone watch the match? Genuinely brilliant, best game of football I have seen in years. I was exhausted after just watching the first half and needed half time for a breather. Incredible stuff.
I watched the second half as I was out for the first half, it certainly was a great game, and what a goal to seal it.
The first half was even better. My mate summed it up as 'being like the last 5 minutes of a knockout cup match when neither team wants a replay, but for the whole game' which I thought was pretty accurate.
I'd agree that everyone has an opinion And a lot of what brown envelope Said was probably right, but I think He was being a bit disingenuous To say it's just a cpl of results. And nearly spit when he was saying It. For me it's the manor of the wins, The way we are now playing, the Organisation and way he sets up His team. And just look how the Players are responding, magnificent. I noticed the only positive comment He had was about Dawson...ex Spurs Player... He came across as a bit of an indignant prick to me... Never liked the man...still don't, nob ed !!
Him and Merson, and Phil ****ing Thompson. I watched the BT program live and thought at the time that Redknapp was carrying on in a very similar vein to the aforementioned two ****s. As someone else has posted, it wasn't just what he said, it was his whole body language, he looked as if he detested the fact that a previously untested - in the PL - foreigner has been given a chance in the money league. I'm pretty sure him and his ****ing dodgy dog would've jumped at the chance. Some of the things that he said may have had some merit, the way in which he said them certainly didn't.
Amusing that there are so many body language experts. Even if people don't actually say the wrong thing, the way they sit apparently vindicates a blinkered hatred of them. Ironic given they're being criticised for having a blinkered outlook.
Who gives a ****. Sky has a Salford Utd bias & BT is obsessed with Liverpool. We will stay up comfortably.
Redknapp just shows himself up as someone who has no idea how significant Silva's impact has been. Precisely the reason that people shouldn't employ out of touch managers like Redknapp.
not sure why the rugby teams gets prevalence about the name of the city football > rugby hull, hull city are one and only
