Magpies saviour has them flying high...
    Stunning goal yesterday.

Surprising that BRS hasn't taken the opportunity to pop over and see Shola....or has he?

3-1 win. We are a great away side at this level.

Seeing as we have two of those dreaded home games after this does that make this game a 'must win'?

Hmm I don't think any game is must win but I do think we need to win our last 3 away games to be sure. I'm not sure how points we can count on at home.

Birmingham recently are absolute rubbish with Zola already under severe pressure. Looks an easy 3 points on paper, however, we don't do easy. Recent results have been ground out and Rafa 's tactics are being tested to the limit by others putting us under pressure early on. Hopefully we will still gain automatic promotion but his current style will see us hammered in the PL.

Huge game. They all are now, to be fair. Could really do with Hayden back, but either way Colback has to be dropped, as does Lascelles.

Darlow; Yedlin - Hanley - Clark - Dummett; Shelvey; Ritchie - Diame - Hayden - Atsu; Murphy

I'd drop Dummett but we've not got any options and away from home he's probably the best we have. Get rid of this '10' crap that has plagued us for so long. If Hayden isn't fit, then bring in Perez and play 4-4-2.

You'd drop Lascelles and NOT replace him with Mbemba?!?!

You'd seriously pick a guy who hasn't even been on the bench in 4 months? It'd be impossible to ask him to jump straight back in.

Personally I'd play Mbemba and Lascelles, but Lascelles has probably been the poorer of the two. Neither has been great of late to be honest.
