(1) Bristol City's Tammy Abraham pulls off unbelievable rabona-like finish ahead of England under-21 clash with Denmark The Chelsea loanee has netted 22 goals while on loan at BS3 this season Head coach Lee Johnson no doubt breathed a sigh of relief as Tammy Abraham negotiated England’s Under-21 international friendly against Germany without mishap. Recently recovered from a thigh injury and a key member of the Robins side battling relegation in the Sky Betc Championship, Abraham was handed another start by Aidy Boothroyd in Wiesbaden last Friday. And the loan signing from Chelsea played the entire 90 minutes as England went down to a narrow 1-0 defeat in what was billed as a dress rehearsal for this summer’s European Championship finals in Poland. please log in to view this image And while Abraham - who could feature for the Young Lions on Tuesday night against Denmark - might not have added to his goal tally for England last week, he sure was in the mood just a few days later at training when it came to finding the back of the net. England's Twitter handle posted some footage of Abraham executing some fine dribbling skills before scoring and tweeted the word 'wow' with it. The 19-year-old brushed off what looks like Jack Grealish of Aston Villa before pinging the ball into the goal with a rabona-like finish. Elsewhere, Gustav Engvall was in the Sweden Under-21 line-up, but finished on the losing side as their Serbian counterparts ran out 2-0 winners. In the senior ranks, Callum O’Dowda and Hordur Magnusson were both unused substitutes for Republic of Ireland and Iceland respectively. please log in to view this image Callum O'Dowda. Ireland drew 0-0 with Wales in Dublin, while Iceland were 2-1 winners in Kosovo as both countries remain well placed to qualify for next year’s World Cup in Russia. O’Dowda and Magnusson will come up against each other in a friendly clash on Tuesday. Meanwhile, City defender Bailey Wright played the full 90 minutes as Australia were held to a 1-1 draw against Iraq. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-citys-tammy-abraham-pulls-14537 (2) Lloyd Kelly joins Bristol City's Lee Tomlin in being nominated for an EFL award The 18-year-old defender is yet to make an appearance for the first-team please log in to view this image Lloyd Kelly. Kelly signed for City aged just 12, but was quickly fast-tracked into first-team training by 16. He was nominated for his excellent progress in all areas of his apprenticeship, including completing an NVQ and passing coaching qualifications. Kelly travelled with the club’s Community Trust to work as a volunteer work in 2013 and two years later was on pre-season tour once more, this time in the first-team fold. “Lloyd encapsulates everything we believe a Bristol City player should look like. As a young person, an academic and footballer, Lloyd has made terrific progress across the duration of his scholarship,” said academy boss Gary Probert. please log in to view this image Bristol City's Lee Tomlin. Kelly will join Tomlin at the awards night next Sunday after his stunning goal against Huddersfield Town last season was one of ten listed for the goal of the year prize. Meanwhile, Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has missed out on being short-listed for the player of the season gong.
