We will have to watch our 3 MPs.
All remainers yet all in leaver voting constituencies.

I have no problems with MPs voting remain IF their constituents voted to remain, in fact that is what they should do.

Watch out for the MPs who keep on saying they respect the referendum result BUT ...and then go off on one saying they want everything to remain as it is.

We all knew this verdict before it was announced anyway, all these remainer judges are pro remain. Putting them in fancy dress doesn't change that.
I think this will be good for ukip.
I don't trust May who is playing this canny and can use these excuses to say she tried her best but her cabinet full of remainers kept thwarting her attempts.

There is no vote to leave or remain mate. That's done. This is not gonna be another vote on whether or not we leave.

Estimates are at 500:150 in favour of invoking article 50 straight away, in the House of Commons.

All the Court did was apply the law. No big deal either way. It's up to the Commons and/or the Lords to try and stop it, not the Courts. And if the feckless ****ers in Westminster try there'll be hell to pay!

Just been reading Sturgeon's speech <laugh>

My prediction is that she'll be in the Big Brother house by the end of 2018.

The motives of the people trying to drag this out concerns me. We know the market place will get a little scared with the uncertainty, but the referendum has been done, the votes are in, lets just get on with it. And what better time, with Trump dissolving every agreement & pissing China off, lets start negotiating now, not wait 8 months like the bonehead politicians want. Trump will be bad for the world, but might just make brexit a little less painful.

Agree, almost entirely. Not too sure about Trump being bad for the world, that's another debate altogether though.

Remoaners are celebrating as if this has overturned the result of the referendum, I can't wait to see their faces when they understand that it's nothing other than a formality. It is best that parliament decide together, how we proceed, as each voter should be represented, not just those who voted conservatives.

The reason I was originally pissed at this going to court is folk like Sturgeon promising to frustrate the process, well now she can't, I'll take great pleasure in watching her impending meltdown.

Cards on the table I'm totally biased but the job of the court - unlike you, me and most other people who will comment on this - is to put emotion or rhetoric entirely to one side and apply what the law dictates they must whether it is popular or unpopular. The law in this regard was clear, there was no real doubt what the outcome was going to be in legal terms (the newspapers wrote **** about it left, right and centre and even went so far as to try "publicly shame" the judges for doing their job properly) and if the court had done otherwise is would have been wrong.

This isn't ignoring democracy at all and i say with not a hint of irony that this is exactly the type of sovereign decision which much of the Brexit campaign said it wanted us to empower.

Our judicial system is correctly held up as an example for most of the world. The reason is because of things like this. The ability to dispassionately make what is legally the correct decision irrespective of personal loss or popular opinion. It will not change anything, the process may take a touch longer but you do not want anyone to say at the end that it was done incorrectly - about 49% of the country is looking to poke holes in how this is done, lets get it done right.

The leavers have been whinging about decisions being out of our own parliaments hands, and now they are whinging that decisions have to be made by our parliament..It is a crazy world we live in..

I think the fact the courts make objective decisions and pay no attention to public opinion is to be applauded.

Parliament will vote it through anyway - it's them who have to take stock of public opinion.

The French & the Dutch rejected the Maastricht treaty & were asked to vote again.
The Irish rejected the Lisbon treaty & were asked to vote again.
It's like asking a woman if you can **** her, she says no so you beat her until she says yes.
Every treaty they've pushed through is actually illegal.
The EU is the most corrupt organisation in modern European history.

Is that legal where you can beat a woman until she says yes. Saves on buying Rohypnol. Asking for a friend by the way.
